MonsterScape

Monster 2014 is  a charity exhibition for victims of the Great East Earthquake from 2011. The exhibition is on from 8th – 12th March 2014 at the Hikarie building in Tokyo.

Monsters act as a metaphor for disaster in the exhibition design concept. The spiky monster-scape is made up of cardboard and serves as a display in which playful monster-themed art or design pieces live. Art and design pieces were selected through a competition and are on sale of which 10% will go to victims of the 2011 earthquake.

I like the idea to recycle the exhibition set as spiky Monster Turtle costumes.
