Each year the JPDA, or the Japan Packaging Design Association, recognizes excellence in packaging design by handing out awards in the category. They’ve been hosting the Japan Package Design Awards since 2000 and the organization just announced the shortlist for 2015.
From the 1430 entries a group of judges recognized 414 for awards but only 11 were given a gold. And we’ve done our best to present those 11 with imagery (but we’ve omitted a few which we couldn’t find good images for). The JPDA will be holding a reception on December 9 where winners will be formally announced.
